The Baby Bush Babble
As I stated previously, I really wanted to blog on the prez's Tuesday speech yesterday, but wound up not having the time. So, briefly: It sucked. He said nothing new. He just did his usual pep rally speak, which I've come to expect, but had some how hoped that recent events would have sparked him to say something, anything, of interest.
For those interested, he is a very good summary of the question and answer period: criticalviewer: A Busy Person's Guide to the Bush Press Conference
[thanks to lies.com
for providing the link]. You know, these questions still sounded scripted. They may have been forced allow some harder question, which Baby Bush adroitly failed to answer. But I really would have liked just one of them to ask why the bin Laden family were allowed to leave the country post 9/11, while good, honest Americans were grounded. That one question would have made time spent watching this crap worthwhile. Regardless of the blither that would have been the response, just hearing the question asked on nat'l TV would have been great.
Well, I probably would have stated more on the subject yesterday, and I'm sure those of you that have been surfing the blogs have had your fill. So, that's it...
